We are delighted to share our new Soul Food charity Christmas card for 2023 which is now available to purchase in our online shop. The sale of these cards will help us continue our work, encouraging and equipping churches to host community meals offering support, respite and refuge to people experiencing the challenges of homelessness, poverty, isolation and loneliness.
This year's design was produced by local artist Linda Hoskins. It is titled 'The Life-Light'. Linda said, "I was delighted to be asked to do this years Christmas card. Art is such a powerful tool and can be used to strike up conversations about difficult topics in society. The work of Soul Food is so vital and it is an honour that my art work might be used to bring about awareness of the work they do."
As an artist, Linda looks to restore hope, to help others think differently and to inspire others through creativity. She is founder of the Stay Seen Project and is passionate about social justice, donating a proportion of sales to Survivors of Human Trafficking in Scotland.
